The photo was take in the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew in London, it was very busy with bees, lots of them flying around and working hard.Time
The photo was taken at 11:37 am. I stayed with the bee for a long time, watching it, taking lots of photos. It seems she got used to me and maybe even understood what I try to do as she stopped moving and stay still for long enough so I could take this photo. Or maybe she was just tired as it was a bit windy that day.Lighting
I loved the colors yellow flower and yellow strips on the bee, and the transparent wings. Only when I got home I saw it, did not have time to look at it in the garden as more bees and flies were around. Details 1/640 sec. f/4 30 mm and ISO 250. The weather was changing clouds coming and going.Equipment
My NIKON 1 J5, with movo extension tube 10 mmInspiration
I love nature and bees are just amazing, small hardworking and they keep the world alive.Editing
I cropped it the original has more flower but it is not essential, used radial and graduated filters improving contrast and exposure. Change saturation of yellow too a bit.In my camera bag
My both cameras N1 J5 and V2, lenses Nikkor 30-110, 6.7-13, 10-30, movo extention tubes 10, 16, 21 mm, cleaning wipes etc.Feedback
Be patient, stay still and keep trying.
