I was on a mission last week to capture one last good image to complete the 2021 Calendar I'm currently working on - and I think I did it!
This trip to Porth Nanven, Cot Valley (near St Just), was a bit of a gamble. Having checked the weather, I thought the conditions might not be great... but was I wrong!!
After the sun went down, myself and another photographer on this small beach were treated to the kind of light and conditions that we spend so many hours chasing!
I would of liked to have positioned my camera a few feet to the right in order to separate the rock in the mid-ground from the headland to the right. Unfortunately though, as the light kicked off, the other photographer had already set up in that spot! I can't complain though... we had a good photography related chat, and both enjoyed the light show! At least there's a little rim light on the rock to help the separation.
Canon 6D MkII | 24-105mm lens at 24mm | Æ-16 | 1.3 sec | ISO 125 | Tripod | No filters | Taken 14-07-2020 at Porth Nanven
