Location
This image was taken in my front yard here in Florida. It was an early morning picture take on the shady side of my home, taken between 8 and 9 amTime
8-9 am in the morningLighting
Subject was in the shade, so I used my Nikon SB910 flash with 2 Magmod grides . The flash was placed on a light stand to right of camera.Equipment
I don’t remember which camera I used, but it would have been either my Nikon D810 or D850. The lens was my Nikon 105 f2.8 micro mounted on my tripod. I used a Nikon SB910 flash on a light stand. Mounted on the flash was a Magmod grid. I used 2 grids.Inspiration
What inspired me was viewing other photographers images. I am always looking at others work, and when I see something that really catches my eye, I have to figure out how they did it. So to figure it out I will go to Kelbyone, Adoroma, B&H, or YouTube and watch subjects I am interested in to learn howtoEditing
I did do some post processing using Lightroom. I cropped a little closer, I removed a couple spots on the peddles (this I would have done in PS), and that was all a Nikon D850 with a Nikon 24-120 f/4 lens.In my camera bag
A Nikon D850 with a 24-120 f/4 lens. Depending on where I am headed I may include my Nikon SB910 and some kind of defused (now days that defused would be fro Magmod), and always extra cards and batteries. But, I am never to far away from my backup camera and other lens, and tripods.Feedback
Study what your interested in. I am always talking to other photographers, I watch a lot of videos. YouTube is a great place to start. I have first watched videos on the Adaroma tv learning center or B&H’s learning center and found different photographers that I like then looked them up on the web and pulled videos from there sites. Just a note of warning about YouTube There are some folks out there posting videos that shouldn’t be, so I would start using Adaroma or B&H to start with and then go to YouTube. I think they have weeded out the good from the bad
