The National Park Dwingelderveld is the largest continuous wet heathland area in Western Europe. The many fens are a feast for the eyes. This beautiful landscape is wonderful to visit in any weather. I was lucky to be there with nice weather while the water lilies blossomed with different colours. The pink water lilies popped towards you. The summer blue sky reflected in the water.
