Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Linthicum, MD. I was watching their activity and seemed to be very playful. I happened to catch this shot by just watching their behavior and hoping to get a great shot.Time
I took this photo in the afternoon, when Cedar Waxwings seem to be the most active. They are very playful and entertaining birds.Lighting
The bright background of the sky helped a lot. The sun was behind me so it helped with the color pop of the birds.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5500 with a 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
I love birding and photography of birds. I take many shots hoping to get some nice action shots.Editing
I cropped this photo to help zoom in on these two.In my camera bag
Just my camera and two lenses. My 35-60mm and 70-300mm lens. Also, I always have binoculars. Birds can be tricky to spot!Feedback
Just be patient. Wait for the birds to “perform” lol
