I was working in Saudi in Jubail the photo was taken in the cool season where the sunsets are more dramatic, I spent an hour waiting for the sun to set and the sky seemed to turn purple, I used my Sony Cyber shot with the wide angle lens no adjustment to the aperture as the light was fairly low. Hope that helps using a basic camera with automatic settings. Regards MikeCTime
