This type of firework has been popular with fireworks fans for at least forty years that I know of because I first remember them from my young childhood. What is amazing about them is that a single small pellet will turn into a six to twelve inch long snake as it burns. This is a black and white macro image of a burning Fireworks snake that I captured on Independence Day 2020.
