Location
In the kayak in summer at 6am on Rock Lake in Canada.Time
Early am after sunrise in my kayak it was taken.Lighting
No flash and natural am light. Sun behind d my back. I waited for my subject to go in the sun area to take pphoto.Equipment
Tripod used in the kayak with a Nikon 7100 camera. I had a 500 mm lens so I did not have to be to close to subject. Safety for the subject first. No flash used.Inspiration
I love to watch loons on the lake and was do lucky the subject let me take many photos.Editing

In my camera bag I carry extra batteries and lens cleaner . I have 2 extra lens encase I need them. I carry a 400mm lens and 100mm lens. I use a monopad also to help my back.Feedback
In the kayak prepare for all elements when taking photos on a lake. Water cover for rain and a towel to wipe off water. I bring a shopping bag for easy storage at my feet and easy to reach items I might need. Sun glasses, binocculars and a snack are a must.
