When I think of architecture, I often think of the all the different styles of buildings that exist in cities, towns, and villages. What I don't often relate it to are all the other structures that aren't designed to be inhabited, but are still planned and constructed for their necessary function, all over the world. Pylons, for example, can be quite formidable and are extremely dangerous. They come in many different shapes and are often scattered across the countryside, so much so, that we can become complacent to them and not see them as the powerful framework that helps allow the modern world to function as it does.
