Location
This photo was taken in our backyard. I was gardening the day before and noticed how this little fellow kept dropping by. The next day, I went out with my camera and took several shots. This one was my favorite.Time
I took the picture somewhere about late afternoon to early evening.Lighting
I preferred the late afternoon to evening sunlight.Equipment
I used my 3500D Nikon with my 70 to 300 mm zoom lens.Inspiration
I've always enjoyed taking pictures of wildlife, but with this photo, I was inspired because this little bird was not afraid of my presence.Editing
I only cropped the photo to focus on the birdIn my camera bag
I have my Nikon camera, my zoom lens and a few filters, but I tend to not use my filters. I'm an amateur photographer, so I'm still learning.Feedback
My advice is patience. I had to be patient and spent a lot of time in the garden so birds could become used to my presence.
