The lighting is from the sun setting on the horizon which gives this makes Chris (the dog) look amazing in this photo.Equipment
I used a sigma 150-600mm lens on a Nikon d3400 camera and took the photo free hand so no tripod.Inspiration
I just was taking photos of the wildlife and views, when Chris lied down in a perfect position to take a photo of him. The angle and the way one ear was up and the other down made the whole photo come together.Editing
The only post processing I did was on the editing functions already on my iPhone XR.In my camera bag
I usually have my Nikon d3400 and the standard lens that came with the camera and my sigma 150-600mm lens. My cleaning kit for my camera and lenses and some extra batteries and memory cards.Feedback
To make sure you are always ready to take a photo especially if it’s of animals because, they move a lot therefore I would make the sure the shutter speed is pretty high or if you have a sports mode on your camera to use that if your beginner photographer.
