Peregrine Falcon patrolling the skies above the nest. These magnificent raptors can reach speeds of 230 mph in a dive, the fastest birds on earth. They are fearless and extremely territorial and will attack birds much larger like Pelicans and I was told it killed a Red Tailed Hawk several days before I took this picture. Do not mess with a fighting Falcon.
