Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taking in the sand dunes in Iowa. A group of us took the quads to have some fun.

Time

It was mid morning as we stopped for a break.

Lighting

I’m not afraid to shoot anytime of day. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But you never know till you try.

Equipment

Canon 30D. 75-300mm lens, polarizing filter

Inspiration

I was so excited to have this great experience. Coming from Alberta it was a different world for me. I just wanted to capture every little detail.

Editing

No post-processing

In my camera bag

This time the bag was a pelican case to keep things clean. I keep it as light as I can with just the one lens and cleaning clothes.

Feedback

I like to stay in the background. Get the natural side of things. Usually if people notice me I tend to put my camera down so it’s kind of a game!
