I took this shot from the prone position on the grass, using a hand held Canon EF 100-400mm IS lens mounted on a 5D Mark IV.Inspiration
A lot of wildlife, including different colored dragonflys, abound on my property. I like to use my equipment in unusual ways, such as capturing insects that come to rest on blades of grass and other foliage.Editing
I primarily work in Photoshop CS6, along with software from Topaz.In my camera bag
Although I have other cameras and equipment, I primarily carry the Canon combination described above, plus a Tamron f2.8 24-70 mm. My lenses are image stabilized.Feedback
Experiment and shoot a lot. With today's equipment it's easy to cull the shots you don't want.
