Location
This photo was taken while I was walking down the stairs at my hometown train station.Time
It was early in the morning, on my daily commute.Lighting
Bright sun from a low angle and no clouds.Equipment
I shot this one hand-held with my Nikon D5600 and the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G kit lens, nothing fancy.Inspiration
I noticed how the shine of the morning sun made the nearby buildings "glow".Editing
I cropped this image heavily because I couldn't zoom in far enough. I shifted the white point to a warmer tone. Then I changed the colour of the sky. There were some distracting elements in the frame, such as bits from a tree, some spikes(?) on the roof and a shadow that is cast on from the element in the middle. You can still spot a small black line where I got lazy. :)In my camera bag
If I take my camera with me, it's never inside the bag. Last month, I bought the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G which has been go-to lens ever since.Feedback
Take the shot. Don't dismiss it immediately. You can always delete it later. But - maybe there's something interesting in the photo that you can use in the future?
