DSC07769 One of my favorite photos. After a Feburary Blizzard dumped a lot of snow and ice in Ames, Iowa in 2007 this Red Cardinal was puffing out its feathers trying to stay warm relaxing in an Oak Tree on 2-25-2007 at 8:37 in the morning. This one made the Ames Daily Tribune newspaper the next day after I took it. This is the original photo unretouched.
