This is a fun shot, Elliott, and I see your note that it's your first with the editing software. Usually it's good to try try to get some detail in all of the different areas of your picture, including the brightest and darkest. and you might try to work with the lighting/exposure features of your editing software to see if you can darken the really bright areas of this shot to get some detail so that they're not just washed out white areas, and you might also see if you can get less contrast in the dark areas to get a little bit of detail in the dark areas of Oreo's fur. Or maybe this is exactly the look you want, and that's OK, too.

I love it that you included the quilt...it adds lots of interesting detail in the shot. This is a really good shot to manipulate as you have done...it catches the humorous quality of the image really well.
