This photo was captured outside my mentors / pastor’s house. Their home is surrounded by beautiful nature scenery, and everywhere you turn can be a new shot. I am a self taught photographer, pretty much use every opportunity to learn and experience something new.Time
This is probably one of my favorite images. It was overcast that day and shot this around noon time.Lighting
I remember debating in my mind whether to use natural light or using a flash. Sometimes I feel like using flash changes the dynamics of a scene, but ended up using a flash.Equipment
This was shot using a Sony A7, with a 85mm f/1.8 lens and a flash attached to the camera.Inspiration
What inspired me to shoot at this location is my pastor. She loves nature and the vibrant, saturation of the flowers and trees represents the beautiful soul she is, she is full of life.Editing
For this shot, no post processing was needed only a few minor adjustments. I mainly use adobe photoshop and Lightroom for my edits.In my camera bag

Living in New England up north, weather changes, we have fall, winter, spring and summer not forgetting rain. My advice is to practice shooting in different season will help you master lighting.
