Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo early morning as the sun was rising on the South Beach on Tybee Island, Georgia.

Time

It was early morning. We went to watch the sun rise.

Lighting

I used the natural light. It was the beginning of that beautiful golden light.

Equipment

I shot this with a cannon D7 using a 70 _200 mm lenses, hand held.

Inspiration

I had been shooting several photos of the seagulls and was ready to pack up when i turned around and saw the birds lined up perfectly as if to say ' take my picture'.

Editing

I did vey little processing in Lightroom. Adjusted the shadows a bit.

In my camera bag

I always have a Cannon camera in my bag. A 70 -200 mm, 50 mm fixed lenses. Plus extra batteries.

Feedback

Turn around and look behind you. I was shooting at the oceans edge not paying much attention to the birds behind me. If I hadn't turned, I woould have missed this picture.
