Behind The Lens

Location

I was driving home when I saw the clouds just floating above the highway. I knew I had to get a photo. I actually handed my phone to my 18 year old son to get the shot. I love the way the road disappeared into the horizon and the way the clouds were juxtaposed against the tree line.

Time

This was taken in the early evening.

Lighting

The natural lighting was perfect. Nature did the work for me.

Equipment

No fancy camera equipment, just my Samsung 7 Edge. ;)

Inspiration

I love clouds. They are always changing, and summer here is a fantastic time to get great shots. I have a folder that's nothing but photos of clouds.

Editing

Nearly nothing; I uploaded it to my computer and cropped a bit of the foreground.

In my camera bag

My phone. I'd love to have a tripod and a nice camera, but with a large family, it isn't in my budget.

Feedback

Keep your eyes open! Nature is my favorite subject, other than my family. Most of the photos I take are for my business as an artist, so for fun, I'm always looking for beautiful nature shots. I love trees and flowers, and always clouds.
