Behind The Lens

Location

Joss Bay, Kingsgate in Kent UK

Time

This photo was taken during a COVID social distance walk with a friend at a local beach in Kent. Was a beautiful sunny day, so made the most of the surroundings whilst the beach was fairly empty. I took along my new 70 - 200 lens, bit of a heavy brute for a walk, but gave me the results I was looking for, so shouldn't complain. My friend is so easy to take photo's of, she is a natural, so not much direction needed by me.

Lighting

Quite bright light.

Equipment

Canon 70D with a 70-200mm len f2.8 - no tripod or flash required

Inspiration

Main reason to get out of the house to get shooting again, was missing my photography . . . I have the bug (not the COVID one!) :-)

Editing

Basic processing and conversion to black and white

In my camera bag

I don't usually take a bag of gear with me, it's whatever I decide to drag along on the day - not a tripod lover, like to keep as mobile as possible!

Feedback

Beautiful beach with lovely surroundings, so lucky to live on the coast - give it a whirl if you live near a beach or perhaps on your holidays!!!
