Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the back river between Jamestown and the James River. There are many little tributaries that connect the James River to the Virginia Penisula.

Time

It was taken around 730 am when the Colonial Parkway and surrounding areas were quiet.

Lighting

I’ve always been attracted to the mirror images on the water from trees and other parts of nature. I love autumn and the way the sun highlights the beautiful colors of leaves.

Equipment

Just a regular Nikon D90 camera.

Inspiration

Fishermen play a huge part in our waterways. And because I’m surrounded by water, fishermen attract me to their craft.

Editing

Just sharpened the details.

In my camera bag
