Location
This is one of several shots taken rite in the middle of downtown Dayton Ohio. We're lucky in that we have a nesting pair in Carillion Park....aka "Hillside condo"Time
Generally speaking these birds are most active shortly after sunrise. Once the egg's have hatched...(early spring) its non stop traffic back and forth hunting and feeding.Lighting

Other than RAW to jpg conversion no other post-processing was necessary. You'll need to put some values in while your converting them...but for me I like to keep them on the lower side of the scale...sharping, color contrast and so on.In my camera bag
I always carry backup or spare batteries and rain protection. A lens pen or 2 and a cleaning cloth are always available in my bag.Feedback
Keep at it...keep practicing. Learning how to pan with your subject does take some time. Manual vs Auto focusing...learn and use both.
