Behind The Lens

Location

My two artist friends and I, in 2018, went on a day trip to The Chicago Botanical Gardens, to enjoy a lovely day of natural beauty. I was practicing with my camera, and was lucky to get this shot, and also, to take a photo of a spiderweb.

Time

It was taken in natural light. The Botanical Gardens are mainly outside, and have many winding paths, ponds, and some waterfalls. Perfect for taking photos of flowers and nature.

Lighting

Natural sun light, during mid day.

Equipment

I used a Canon, EOS Rebel, T5.

Inspiration

I loved the contrast between the white flowers and the dark background

Editing

No post processing

In my camera bag

I am a beginner, I have my camera, and 2 lenses, one is a zoom 75-300mm lens, the other is 18 to 55 mm.

Feedback

I dont really have advice. I just play around with the camera, till I get the shot I want. I am an artist, primarily a painter, but, I love to take photos too.
