Behind The Lens

Location

It was a beautiful day; my husband and I decided to go the beach. Walking to the beach there were these flowers blooming on the sidewalk. So, I went and took a picture of it. It was random!

Time

This photo was taken on 2nd May 2020 evening at 6 pm. It was a perfect summer evening, so we decided to the beach. We drove to the beach, parked our car, and started to walk to the beach that’s when I noticed these beautiful flowers on the sidewalk. I took out my camera, sat on the ground, and took this photo.

Lighting

As it was sunny, I didn’t want the shot to be overexposed, so I used a fast shutter speed with an aperture of f/6.3,and it worked for me.

Equipment

This was shot on Nikon D3400, with a 50 mm lens, handheld.

Inspiration

I have been following Barbora_Polivkova on ViewBug, and I love her work. That is why when I saw those flowers, I had to take a shot.

Editing

Not much, I just adjusted the exposure. The shot was as I had imagined, so I didn’t had to spend time on post-processing.

In my camera bag

My Nikon D3400, 50 mm and zoom lens and extra battery and few filters.

Feedback

I’m still a learner, so anyone who has a passion for photography, I would say just pickup your camera and start taking pictures. It dosen’t have to be a masterpiece, with time will come perfection.
