Is the barn abandoned? I've noticed here in the South that houses and outbuildings unused/unoccupied seem to weather much faster. And I don't think it's just how often they are painted.

It appears that it is currently being used, but (just my impression) is not heavily used. There are a few other buildings that I know are being used.
