Location
Well, we had an amazing road trip in California end January 2020 and we done more than 5000Km. This road pop up in front of us while driving through Anza Borrego area.Time
I think was around 9-10 AM , I remember we woke up really early that day as we had to touch several points.Lighting
Nothing more than mother nature didn't do already. That day in that moment the light was just perfect.Equipment
My faithful companion since many years is a Canon EOS 600D , equipped with a Tamron 18-250 and a travel tripod.Inspiration
I remember I turn on a crossroads and this long, straight, breathless road just pop up in front of us , in that moment I thought I was in a movie, never seen anything like that. I pulled over the car and while my wife was looking for other cars coming I lay down in the middle of the road and shot.... a lot!Editing
As i shot in RAW, I just give a bit more body to the colours but this shot in particular is mainly pure.In my camera bag
I travel a lot and I like to be light, essential, so I fit all the equipment I generally use, inside my one-shoulder backpack , my camera of course with the lens, 3x SD Card 64GB/ea, 3x battery, a short tripod, Hoya NDx4 filter, K&F slim CPL filter, a cleaner kit and of course all cables I need. It could sound a limiting choice but I found this kit a perfect solution for my kind of travels.Feedback
I didn't aspect to find this kind of landscape, that's mean that if you are doing an adventurers trip , be ready to pull over , you will find something amazing that will stimulate your inner artist when you least expect it and when happen shot a lot , don' t limit to one, change position and prospective , think a composition, dare.
