Location
The photo was taken in my parent's farm during the pandemic. I had a lot of books there, so it was easy to be creative.Time
The sun was about to set here in Brazil, the light was soft, almost too dark, making the picture look dramatic.Lighting
As I said, the only light used was the sun light; the best source of light you can possibly use. There was this big window on the left, so i asked my mother to take a book and read, she agreed, as alwaysEquipment
I did use my old Nikon D3300 with the kit lens 18-55. No other equipment used.Inspiration
This was taken to participate on the contest about books and magazines. I made a sequel using different books trying to tell you, the public about some facts; Past, beauty, admiration for the truest artistic way of capturing the reality, to encourage you to love the others as they are, to love and take care of nature and to educate ourselves, of course there's no way you can do that without reading.Editing
I did edit this picture on Adobe Photoshop lightroom. I just adjusted the colors and saturation a little bit.In my camera bag
I just carry my camera (Nikon D3300) 2 prime lenses (35mm 2.0 and 50 mm 1.8) Flash, extra batteries for both equipments, ND/macro filters and tripod.Feedback
I like to capture the moment as it is, but if you can plan your pictures, it would be much better for you to share your way of thinking and philosophy.
