This photo was taken from my terrace.I am from Bangladesh and i am a self taught photographer.I usually play with my smartphone camera when i feel bored.I experiment with my camera and learn new things everyday.Learning new thing is always fun!Time
This is one of my favorite shots.I remember going in the terrace to take a breath of fresh air because i was bored by staying in my home everyday.I was roaming around the terrace then i found this wonderful sunset.I was amazed by the beautiful sunset.As far as i can remember i took this photo at around 6 pm.Lighting
I lowered the lightning in my smartphone camera before taking this shot in order to capture color details of the sky.I didn't change anything in my smartphone.The shutter speed,white balance and everything was set at default settings.Everything was done automatically.Equipment
I haven't used any fancy equipment to take this shot.I just used my smartphone camera to take this shot.Smartphone cameras evolved a lot in past few years.Anybody can take good photograph nowadays with smartphone!Inspiration
I didn't take any inspirations for this shot.I was just looking for a perfect moment to capture any sort of beautiful shot and then i discovered this sunset and i somehow managed to take this shot.Editing
Yes! For photography,editing is a must in my opinion.Sometimes you need to edit the photos to bring the mood in photos.The only target in the end is to make the viewer feel great! .You need to play with all sorts of stuff like exposure,highlights shadow.I used Photoshop express in my smartphone to edit this shot.I found a great filter in Photoshop which helped me set the mood of the picture.Remember,never over sharpen your image.It will make the photo look harsh.Exposure,highlights,blacks and whites is what i usually change.I experiment with many things when i edit photos sometimes.In my camera bag
I usually carry a tripod and clip on smartphone lenses with me.I usually carry a 10 times zoom lens with me because i like to capture pictures of sun and moon.I use tripod to keep my phone still and wait for the perfect time to take a shot.Feedback
If you want to be a great landscape photographer,then you need to be patient.You need to wait for the perfect moment for capturing a photo and remember angle is one of the most important things in photography.My advice will be to experiment with your camera gear.It doesn't matter what you use to take a picture.You need to earn the skill by experimenting with your camera as much as you can.It will take time but i believe you will get the type of photograph you want.Editing is also another important thing to make the photo look more appealing.That's all i wanted to say.I hope this will help!
