Behind The Lens

Location

This was my first wedding shoot for a friend of mine (Shown) she decided to do the shoot at Botanica in Wichita Ks.

Time

It was a very hot summer day. About 101 degrees

Lighting

None other than it was midday and we were looking for semi lighted and semi shaded areas.

Equipment

Nikon D5500 and a Canon D3. 24-75mm Nikkor lens.

Inspiration

The sun was bright and we were trying to find any shade we could. We were taking a break and she jumped up on this tree branch. She didn't know I took the shots until we reviewed the entire shoot.

Editing

Just a little Bokeh added via Lightroom. It was a very clean shot.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5500 and D750. Nikkor 300 mm zoom. 24-75 mm and a 50mm sigma prime

Feedback

More times than not the spontaneous shots end up being the best shots. Look for those times when you are taking a break or interacting with your subject.
