This is one of my all time favorite surfing photographs. In surfing it's all about the relationship between the wave and the surfer. Anytime I show one of these guys a photograph of themselves surfing they always talk about the wave and how awesome or beautiful it is.

I first I thought we would do a Sally Mann tribute and then I thought about those eyes. I told her "to open your eyes and smile at grandma."

We've had a lot of rain lately in the PNW so when there's a break in the weather, we hit the outdoors.

After days of rain, in the Pacific Northwest, we finally had a day of sunshine and that's when I captured this little guy soaking up some sun ray

I recently photographed a football camp in our small town. The look on these little guys faces when they caught the ball or made the play is priceless

The tide was low which allowed me the luxury of being at the same level of these guys and seeing what they see when entering the water and waves.
