I Took this phone in Tempe, Az at a place called Tempe Town Lake.Time
This is one of my favorite images, i knew I wanted this photo because I’ve driven by this place at night many times and said to myself I bet this would come out nice, so I set out one weekend night about 7:00 to capture it.Lighting
Actually I knew I would only use the lightning from nearby lamp post around and the lights coming from subjects ( Buildings) and I also wanted to calm the water a bit, so I slowed my shutter to about 20 sec and set my f-stop to f13 and an iso of 100 to keep noise down.Equipment
This was shot with a Sony A6300 with actually a 16-50mm zoom @ 29mm and a little handy price efficient tripod to keep steady, no other gear used.Inspiration
I am regularly driving by this location and always wanted to take this photo just to see if it was what I imagined and I am so glad I did! I would like to say I am pleased the way it came out.Editing
I just simply conducted a light edit in LR.In my camera bag
I use carry my Sony A6300 with a Sony 85 1.8 FE and a Carl Zeiss 24mm 1.8 and depending on what’s going on I may also have an ad600 monolight as well.Feedback
Nothing other than be aware of the different variables out there from camera shake, setting the right composition and don’t get caught up in the moment and do your best! Happy shooting everyone!
