Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in my backyard. It was a tulip in my garden that had actually begun to wither.

Time

This photo was taken shortly after noon. I went to get the mail, it had rained that morning and as I was returning to go up the stairs the water droplets caught my eye. I love images of water on flowers! But more amazing, was that this tulip looked more like a rose with the way the leaves had curled back.

Lighting

Nothing special, it really was a quick photo I took. I honestly do not remember if it was even sunny or still cloudy from the rain.

Equipment

Sony DSC-RX10M3, no flash or tripod.

Inspiration

I love to take pictures of flowers with water droplets on them and this tulip just caught my eye as I was walking past.

Editing

I am not bold enough yet to shoot and RAW and deal with processing, so I shoot JPEG and just do basic editing that Microsoft picture viewer allows.

In my camera bag

The camera is all I have.

Feedback

Shoot what catches your eye!
