Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken on my 30th birthday in Norway. I had taken the Flamm railway up the mountain side and it was one of the 5 stops we made.

Time

It was midday I had looked round Flamm and the scenery and then boarded the train this was taken on the return journey

Lighting

I wanted this image to look exactly how it looked to me natural and not over edited. I love travel photography and finding the unique pictures that you may never get the chance to take again. I was lucky that the day was more overcast as it gives the picture a moody effect.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 70d a aperture f/1.7 ISO 40

Inspiration

Sometimes you can stand in front of something and know thats the picture you want. Exactly as it looks. I love natural photos

Editing

The only editing done on this photo is croping it in slightly

In my camera bag

I have a relatively small camera bag I have my Canon 70d Fish eye lens, 18mm to 200mm, 400mm prime and also my phone for landscape photos as its alot quicker

Feedback

if you wanted to take the same type of picture the only advice I would give is dont try to take the best picture the perfect light and angle. Just let the camera do the work its what its made for take a few pictures from different angles. The perfect shot is always there.
