Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo at home. The model was sitting in a stool, in front of a door that had black Bristol board stuck in it. So the model had a jug of water and as she poured it on her face I took the capture.Time
It was the middle of the day and I used natural light and one continuous light positioned on her face.Lighting
It was so much fun to do this shoot and the water got everywhere whilst the model was pouring it down her face.Equipment
Nikon D3500 with one continuous light.Inspiration
I loved the look of falling water and it was particularly pleasing to capture this shot after thinking about how it would look.Editing
I adjusted the light and enhanced the black Tones to give it more of a striking look.In my camera bag
Since that shot I have changed my camera to a mirror less Nikon Z6. I am very pleased with it and apart from the 18-70mm lens, I have the wide angle Nikkor lens for landscape shots.Feedback
Be patient and enjoy the process. The shot you wanted at the beginning may not be the shot you end up with but enjoy the process of creating. It is beautiful.
