Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while out walking my dogs one day, not long after receiving my new mobile phone

Time

Taken mid afternoon with the sun high in the sky

Lighting

I moved around a bit on the grass while on my knees to get the best light reflecting on the petals of the daisy and found this angle to be the best

Equipment

I only had my new Samsung S20 plus with me, and wanted to try close up shots. F1.8 1/2410s 5.40mm ISO 50 auto white balance no flash.

Inspiration

Trying out different exposures and distances on my phone on small objects and was really happy that you can see the pollen on the petals of the daisy.

Editing

Photo was cropped to remove a lot of grass, other than that, no manipulations were done to this image as it didn't need any, it's straight off my phone.

In my camera bag

When using my Canon, I"ve got various different lenses, flashes, light metres with me, and my trusty tripod that's taken a few knocks over the years.

Feedback

There's always a photo opportunity, no matter where you are or the situation you're in, you just need to use your imagination
