It was one of the most special places I stumbled upon my photography journey during the last years. Standing in the narrow tunnel just inside of the fast melting Icelandic Glacier is a strange feeling and evokes strong emotions. It is not easy to believe that such beauty will disappear during the next summer season. The place I was stnding while shooting this image will be soon far from the new glacier front about 70 meters. That's the average length of the glacier's front retriet that can be observed each year due to the Global climate change.
