Inspiration

My daughter was building her modeling portfolio, and she wanted something a little different from her usual photos. She wanted to be seen as a sensual woman and not a young girl any longer. It was hard as a mother, taking these images, but she looks so beautiful.

Editing

I used Photoshop to bump up the contrast and saturation, as well as cropping.

In my camera bag

Always a Nikon DSLR, range of lenses, extra batteries, ALWAYS lens cleaners, tripod, remote....

Feedback

Use whats around you. This was taken in our backyard, underneath several palm trees. She was uncomfortable due to the 110 temp, the dirt, ants, and prickly plants but if we had traveled elsewhere, she wouldn't have been as serene in the photos.
