This photo was taken in Rigby, Idaho at a farm I had been living. I am no photographer. I take pictures while wandering. My photos embody personally unique stories halted in time. These are my memories as recollection and reflections steadily fade.Time
My family and I live in Texas and due to unforeseen circumstances I was directed to Idaho (for work) in order to support my family. This photo was taken sometime around 0730. The enchanting little girl in the photo is my daughter. I had not been in the corporeal presence of my family in nearly six months. This memory is a narrative of the very long awaited reuniting with my family at farm in Rigby, Idaho.Lighting
The lighting of this photo is of natural sun in the typical frigid cold of an Idaho morning in the winter.Equipment
The photo was taken with my iphone. Other equipment would include the pink coat in which my daughter is wearing. The coat was purchased In Idaho prior to the arrival of my family. Living in Texas, my daughter did not own a warm coat. The toboggan she is wearing is mine, as I forgot to buy her something to keep her blonde head warm in the five degree fahrenheit cold.Inspiration
The inspiration attached to this memory encompasses that morning when I was reunited with my family for the first time in nearly six months. This memory reminds of my daughters excitement of her new pink fluffy coat. This memory brings the recollection of the first time my daughter had felt snow. This memory is a reminder of my daughters impatience to build a snowman. This memory demonstrates my daughters apprehension of being on a farm for the first time and her apprehension yet amazement to the elements of the farm and farm-life.Editing
I took the photo in the portrait setting of my iphone. I tweaked the photo post capture in order bring out the brilliance of my daughter’s blue eyes.In my camera bag
In no specific order, the equipment always necessary to keep in my bag consists of: fire, a first aid pack, extra clothes (especially warm socks), water and food if I were to be stranded or were to become lost, sleeping bag, light-weight shelter/tent, small compact spotlight, headlamp, chargeable communication device, crampons, portable USB chargers, items essential for protection while navigating the elements of nature, my gopro, and my iphoneFeedback
Nothing is the same. Everything is different incapable of replication. Similarity is demonstrated by the perspectives, imagination, and emotions a specific individual. This particular image reveals my perspective, feelings, and my emotions of that moment. For a photograph to be similar to the one displayed, an individual might capture a completely different image. The similarity exists through capturing those feelings, those emotions, those moments in creating a memory frozen for personal recollection and revealed to others.
