Travelling through the deserts of California in a brand new mustang is on many a bucket list! The desolation and amazing landscapes with natural rock and terrain formations is simply incredible. With so much to see, there is little time to visit everything. Having the power of a V6 engine and straight roads gives you a bit more 'wriggle room' with an itinerary though! Zabriskie Point is easily accessible from the road (and lets face it, under the baking California sun, this is a a good thing!) and has some incredible views. Nearby, you have the salt flats used to set numerous land speed records, salt mines and Stovepipe Wells, the town in the middle of nowhere.
