Behind The Lens

Location

Taken on the Chobe River, Botswana. We were on a specialty equipt boat provided by CNP Safaries. Taken early morning. The boat has single swivel seats with a special attached monologue and gimble head. The tour supplied long Nikon lens and camera. We had two trips per day.

Time

Early morning

Lighting

It was a sunny morning.N

Equipment

Nikon D500 Nikkor 500 f/4 attached monopod with gimbal head to rotating seat

Inspiration

I had static images of the kingfishers, while this shot showed interaction.

Editing

Only basic processing in Lightroom

In my camera bag

Normally I have a lot of equipment, but since the company supplied a camera and long lenses. All I needed to bring was a body, wide angle lens, and a 70-200.

Feedback

Join tour that has a lot of experience on the Chobe
