Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in secluded outdoor area. It was hot and humid day with some drizzle.

Time

This is photo was taken midday. We were lucky that it was an overcast. However, I did think it was going rain. Luckily I took the shot before the hard rain.

Lighting

I love using natural light whenever possible. I was fortunate that it was an overcast and the light hit her body just right.

Equipment

I took this shot with Nikon D600 and Nikon 70-200mm VR lens. No flash and hand held.

Inspiration

I always wanted to see how a boudoir image would look using the outdoors. So, I decided to take the step in trying it.

Editing

I usually try to do little to no post processing. I try to leave the skin texture natural as possible. With this image, I did very little post processing using Adobe CS6.

In my camera bag

I am a light carrier. I usually carry a 24-70mm lens, 70-200mm lens , LED light and a reflector.

Feedback

If you want to capture a similar photo, take the photo during an overcast day with 70-200mm or higher lens.
