Behind The Lens

Location

This photo has been taken on my balcony on a sunny afternoon. I just had to hung a black curtain at the back, set the camera and put it on a tripod. I'm a self taught photoenthusiastgrapher, so, I guess that sometimes I still try things to get results.

Time

It has been taken on an afternoon break, probably around 3pm during summer.

Lighting

I have not much to say about it... the sun did its job...

Equipment

It has been shot on a Canon 7D markII with a 50mm f/1.4 lens on a tripod, and I used a remote controller as it is a self P. The settings were: f/1.4 1/2000 ISO 100.

Inspiration

I thought it would be interesting to have a kind of souvenir of me looking tired, with an "about to collapse" face. We were at the end of an intense work season, as I run a bar/tapas on the coast. My sleeping pattern was "out of order", the energy level was very low...

Editing

Lightroom is always a good friend. I like to play with the vibrancy trigger to get a sad comic alike vibe.

In my camera bag

Canon 7D markII Canon 70-200mm ILS II Canon 18-135mm STM Canon 50mm 1.4 Sony alpha6000 Sony SEL 16mm with a fisheye converter
