ð¸â¾ï¸ B R O N Z E - H A Z E â¾ï¸ð¸
A veil of mist shrouded Penryn River on this calm morning. As the sun rose, it barely penetrated the mist - allowing me to shot straight into the light with only 5 stops of filtration (2 stop soft grad ND & 3 stop ND).
The light that did filter through the mist bathed the scene in warm, sepia-like tones.
I composed this shot to capture: the effect of the mist softening into the distance; the reflections of the boats and the sun; the boats isolated from each other; the sun as central as possible, with the dominant boat on the third.
