Behind The Lens

Location

Out on a location in the woods, where I usually capture small birds. Then this little guy suddenly showed up.

Time

Afternoon/evening when I know the light is on its best.

Lighting

All natural light

Equipment

Nikon D610 Sigma 150-600 mm f.5-6,3 contemporary. Induro monopod. I am a hobbyist and don't make my living out of this.

Inspiration

Always Inspired to take photos, when I have great models

Editing

Developed the raw image in lightroom, and made some finishing touches in Colorefex pro 4

In my camera bag

Normally what I used to take this photo, plus a Sigma 24-70mm f.2,8 and son ND filters I case of any landscape opportunities.

Feedback

A decent camera and a OK zoom lense. For small birds an animals at least 600mm at the long end. Preferably aperture not smaller than f,5.6 wide open Tripod/monopod
