Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Trieste, a city in the North-East of Italy, in the seaside area of the city. They are waterfront terraces where people in the summer go to sunbathe

Time

The photo was taken at sunset, during the blue hour, in mid-February at 17.46 PM

Lighting

The sunset was not exciting, I was leaving when turning to look on the sea again I saw this scene whit these perfect colors and with a mood that represents me and that I wanted to show and stop it in one click

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony Alpha 7III, with 24-70 mm f/4 Zeiss lens with freehand

Inspiration

I was trying to find street situations to capture, when this scene presented itself to my eyes and represents very well how this area is also experienced in winter by the Trieste population

Editing

I had to develope this photo only correcting a little bit the parameters with Lightroom Adobe

In my camera bag

My pack consists of my Sony Alpha 7III camera with Zeiss lens 24-70mm f/4 and an other lens: Canon 70-300 f/4-5,6 with Sigma mount converter (this lens was from my previous camera Canon)

Feedback

To always go out at sunset and to look around 360 degrees to capture the most colorful scene from its light. We can shot looking directly at the sunset, or giving the back at the sunset and framing the scene shoot by its light
