Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo after a long night at work. Me and a buddy drove about an hour away from work and stopped at Snoqualmie falls with the intention of taking photos from the lower viewpoint but ended up at the upper.

Time

This was taken at about 7 am in late February.

Lighting

We initially went to try and get a sunrise from the lower point, but by the time we arrived and found the lower point closed it was too late for that so we decided on the upper point and had a nice thin layer of fog.

Equipment

My equipment is a canon eos T2I with the 18-55 mm lens set on a tripod

Inspiration

This was actually one of the first photos I took and was very excited to start into this hobby/opportunity.

Editing

Nope. No processing was done to this image.

In my camera bag

I usually have the T2I, 18-55 mm, 55-250 mm, nifty fifty, and a variety of filters. Tripod. Lens hoods.

Feedback

Just get out and go to the tourist spots and go to the unusual places. I’ve learned in the past few months that all it takes is getting out there and looking for beauty and things that intrigue you.
