This photo was taken near my dorm , in Nanjing university of aeronautics and astronautics. I was returning from my class.Time
This picture is probably the most important picture I have clicked, it was just few days after my father had passed away and I couldn't go back to my country to see him for the last time and the butterfly passing away in my hand was terrifying for me, I remember waiting for a while quietly for it to move but it didn't and I surely felt very connected to it and thought of keeping the memory forever. It was around 4 pm in the afternoon.Lighting
The day was beautiful, sunlight perfectly shining upon us and there no artificial light around us, so it was completely natural.Equipment
I simply used my OnePlus 5T cellphone camera, I don't own any other equipments, so whatever I click is only by using my cellphone.Inspiration
The timing and my emotions at that very situation played a major role in inspiring me to take the photo.Editing
Yes I did, I used a very simple app and used general filter and grain. I am very new to this, so I honestly have a lot to learn about post-processing.In my camera bag
I am very new to this, and I sadly don't own any equipments yet. The only thing I carry is my cellphone and I take pictures with it. But I am saving up for my very first camera.Feedback
Don't wait for something special or for a very good subject, start with whatever you have and whatever you think looks beautiful. In case or birds/ butterflies let them settle and try not to scare them. You'll get an amazing shot.
