The photo was taken in a friend home studio in Montreal named Iza Studio. I am a self taught photographer, so every shot is pretty much a new lesson for me.Time
The majority of my photo projects are the result of chance, and the models hear about me through their friends or through social networks and for this one I am happy that gives me the chance to take a photo of her and we had a good fun, thanx Martine G.Lighting
I wanted this image to be mysterious and draw the viewer to a scene in a story. So with the means at hand and a mobile studio, I tried to create this environment. So a dark paper roullop in the back, two rugs and the ethical chair. As light a single Godox AD200 flash and its 8 "umbrella to have this awesome effect.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 5D Mark III, with a 24-105mm f / 4 V1 lens. No other equipment was involved. Config: Aperture f / 8 ISO 200 Shutter 1/250 Focal Length 46/1.Inspiration
My new friend Martine G. wanted a new experience compared to these old shoots with other photographers and at the same time stay in the sensual, BDSM, fetish ect .. So I had the good idea with all the clothes which to bring back with her to create this scene of the 70s in boudoir mode and to give this magnificent portrait.Editing
Yes, i do some ajustement by Lightroom to fix some light issue and after that with photoshop to make some pop and fix some dakness in the background to remove the mobile studio and noised object to let the eye focus in the model. In my camera bag
When i go to other studio i take the minimun equipement so my Canon 5D Mark III, with a 24-105mm f / 4 V1 and for the light AD200 Godox with her remote. But ouside i add a 70-200mm f / 4 with a tripod.Feedback
Be prepared for diversity in your photos, colors and situations. Take your time to analyze the scene and speak well with the model to know and understand what it prefers and what it can show through your photo is one of the keys to a successful shoot, but the conditions of mental preparation, to have these batteries charge and control are atmospheres are essential too. Diversify, be patient and plan ahead.
