Location
This picture was take in Ypsilanti, MI. I was waiting for someone and I parked in front of this tree.Time
Early morning between 6:30am and 7:00am. It was chilly.Lighting
Just the natural light coming in. Just before sunrise. That grey morning look.Equipment
It was taken by a iPhone 8 Plus. No tripod, no flash. Hand held.Inspiration
I was trying a pre-winter shot for a testing. I use my phone sometimes to get pre shots but It came out really well so I stuck with this shotEditing
Very little post work. The original picture is in color. So converted it to black and white. And messed with some of the lighting just enough for my liking. In my camera bag
In my bag, I carry Canon M50, canon lenses 50mm, 15-55m, 55-20mm, aspherical lens 28-80mm 2 filters. 2 EF/EFS to EFM adapters. One off brand speed flash. And last my iPhone 11 max pro.Feedback
If I could did it again I would like to use my Canon M50, but at the time I was using it for another project and I did not want to mess it up the settings (I was getting used to using the Camera. I was new to M50) but I was just learning depth of field and tinkering with phone camera. I took the shot serval different ways. Out side the post work it came out very well. Learn to use your equipment and take as many shots you can. Different angle, with or without flash.
